So so unlucky that.  Probably the first game this season we've not deserved to lose.

A lot of positives to take from it.

Those are the type of players we will never see at Goodison Park unfortunately. Match winners.

No need to praise them

What we've seen is that you can't make miracles in a single training session. No big surprises there.

But we created chances (at least in the 2nd half), we pressed them hard, we played like a team in poor form, not like 11 individuals in poor form, we showed some of the elements that could be used to win games.

And a promising debut for Beni.
I didn't even remember I had a signature.

Fucking loads better. However long it's for, we've actually got a manager on the sidelines now.

Can't wait for the weekend already.

Positives were we looked more balanced, and we did have a decent amount of pressure 2nd half and were able to create some decent chances. Rooney was the most blatant missed opportunity.

Negatives, we need a result. Also the Chelsea line up was pretty second rate by their standards whereas we had a lot of our first XI out.

We need a result. We desperately need to find reliable ways to create and score.

Not a particularly big black mark against Unsworth but it underlines the challenges ahead.
