Sounds like we played well. What channel and time are the highlights on?

Many positives to take from that second half. Still lack a cutting edge up front, but at least we were creating chances today.

The negatives - the different pronunciations of Baningime's name. He's going to be a fixture in our squad on that showing so we need to get it nailed.

I think it's Banning - Gimme, as in, 'well done for Banning that boring twat @Realist' and 'You don't need to Gimme a reason to ban that morose twat @Realist.

Is that right?

Hope he keeps most of that team in, they deserve it.

Also show Glyfi and Co. that they dont have any automatic right to a place, 45m or not.

I'm not going to get too excited because the reality is we lost, and I don't like losing and won't celebrate it. BUT huge improvements in that performance. Who knows if it's sustainable, but still pretty impressive especially after one training session.

I think that will be a relief for them, and with less pressure and better organisation their performances might start to pick up. Or they might not, we'll have to wait and see. Sigurdsson we know is not a bad player, Klaassen I'm not so sure about.

Say what you like about Niasse's technical ability but he's an honest nuisance in the final third and things happen when he comes off the bench. He'll get a bear hug from Unsy in the dressing room, poor lad.

Well our goal was just fucking forced all the way in from the centre circle to the back of the net by sheer willpower.

Happy to be an Evertonian tonight - despite the loss. What a turnaround in feeling.

Hope the team take a lot from that performance because we have some fringe players and new signings who could be really good for us this season if they get their confidence back.

I'm only here for the cladding/Bramley Moore Dock updates

We've got our Everton back boys.

Shed a tear at the end when Rhino gave it the chest  pump.
