Allardyce open to Everton talks

Former England boss Sam Allardyce says he would consider the job of Everton manager, but has not been contacted yet.

Nothing to worry about. Just Big Sam tapping himself up. And hoping for a bung to withdraw from consideration.

Old habits die hard.
Everton forever.

I want him. Evertonians aren't half as precious about style of play as they like others to believe.

I want winning football and at his age and point in his career he'd take over for the rest of the season with an option for an extra year.

That and his Bolton side played some great football when they weren't playing Arsenal.

Why, because we've had a lucky win against a depleted team who will be hoping for no more than survival themselves?

Just think how shit we've been this season. Like proper shit.

Well we're 15th. So there's 5 teams who have been even shitter, based on results.

And we've already played most of the top teams. In our next 4 games we play 2 teams below us. The other 2 are Southampton and Huddersfield. We're surely picking up some points there. Mate, we may be absolute dog turd, but we're not getting relegated.

And on that basis there's no fucking chance we should be getting Big Sam as our manager.

While it's important to understand that your own shit really does stink, I'm not sure one should take much comfort in the fact that your shit stinks slightly less than a few others in the holding pen. Particularly when you're incontinent.

I'd say we need to focus on cleaning up our mess and stop shitting ourselves--and stop believing the mess other clubs have filled their pants with will somehow guarantee our safety.
Everton forever.

He does look rather fetching in our colours, I must admit...  ;D
