We'll go behind, as per, then change things and grab a late draw.

I'll be well on board the Panic Express if we lose this one. In fact, I'll be driving the fucker to the end of the line.

You'll need to attach a fair few carriages.

Is it blasphemous to want Gana on the bench, at least for a little while? He lacks the positional discipline to play as a lone DM and he ruins attacks when he has license to get forward.

Baningime has shown him up these past three matches. Sits in his area, mops up, maybe dribbles past a man to buy us time, lays the ball off simply, goes back to his area. That's what we need at DM. At the other positions, we need more attack-minded midfielders, like Davies, Sigurdsson, or Klaassen, because our forward players aren't scoring goals if they're isolated (they may not any way, but theyíre definitely not if nobody is getting close to them).

I agree, which makes it all the more strange to be desperate to give him a payrise and new contract, when we have a younger model in the wings who looks to have potentially more to his game in that area.

I know Unsy is looking for a formula but I hope it's not another half a dozen changes again. How are we supposed to build up any momentum between them if it's all change every week.

Five players stood close enough in the middle of the park to shake hands with each other all game then.

Can only think he's hoping to keep it 0-0 until 60 minutes then change it. Although if Silva is half the manager we think he is he'll be set up quite heavy on width today to put the game to bed before 60 minutes though.

Don't get this insistence on ignoring Sandro and Vlasic. Have we really got better options across the front that we can afford to ditch these two completely?

Just think, when it all goes narrow and every man and his dog can see it, who do the crowd vent their spleen at? Fan power has dispensed with the last manager, does the caretaker get the same treatment or do they turn on the players this time?

From the Echo:

"Morgan Schneiderlin and Kevin Mirallas have both been left out of the matchday squad today entirely. Iím hearing that that could be related to an issue with attitude during a training session.

Nothing confirmed, but for such senior players to be omitted altogether suggests that there is something amiss.."

Wouldnít have a problem if I never saw either him of them in a shirt again to be honest.

Twice in two games Pickford has ran out like Tim Howard in his final days, once costly another luckily not. Worrying signs.

Relegation candidates at this rate.

You'd think so looking at this. How has it got to this?
