I reckon thatís a decent solid team, maybe thereís an argument for DCL up top, but thereís plenty of quality in it and should be enough to keep us solid.

Letís not forget weíre in need of a result today and their in better form than us so we canít be overly expansive.

Thatís the only thing.

But needs Rooney in the middle and Sigurdsson wide.

Rooney has to come off, Lookman on.

Again heís played the only chance in the game.

Should be more Gueye who isnít tackling and gives the ball away nearly every time.

Wide player on, Sigurdsson deeper.

Good subs from Unsworth anyone? No takers?

Starting lineup not good, but credit where it's due for changing the game in our favour.

Yes replacing Gomes with their sub keeper was inspired ;)

I have said this numerous times, Rooney is done. Everything changed when he went off.

All credit to the players and Unsworth especially. He fired up the players, and made some great changes.

Although there is still massive amounts of work to do defensively, at least we scored some goals!!

No, we scored when he was on; from a set piece and a pen.

Plus the two best open play chances came when he was on too.

Regardless of what the situation in the match was, or the goals scored, the team looked a completely different beast. More energy, better on the ball, enthusiastic, even better defensively.

During the match, even if he creates one good moment, he gives the ball away far too much, looks lethargic and sloppy and just not the player that we thought we were getting.

The momentum changed because we got a goal from poor defending from them.

We won because they missed a pen.

Aside from Niasseís effort right at the end we had no other open play chances and that was with all the momentum going our way.

Yeah, I hadn't seen a Silva side this season. Wasn't impressed today I have to say. It is always tough to make judgements on a manager after a short period of time in the league as sometimes opposing teams work them out a bit. Happened with us after Martinez's first season. However, he did certainly get some great performances last season with Hull.

They looked quick and decisive in attack.

But you canít lose vs a team low in confidence like ours from 0-2 up.

Plus against Chelsea they threw the game away and lost 0-5 at home vs City.

I thought DCL replaced Rooney a minute after Niasse had reduced the deficit to 1-2?

Yeah we scored and he came off.

Given that we didnít control the game after that Iím struggling to see any correlation other than we were now back in the game.

baines missed an open net in the first half - just saying

we did win though and it wasn't totally pretty but it was a start

Oh yes, I just mean that we should have scored that and Sigurdssonís chance from open play before any subs.

Momentum was killed after their player dropped in our box at 2-2. If that didnít happen weíd have pushed for the winner earlier.

Yes that didnít help.
