'This was a frenzied occasion, furiously contested in slippery conditions and richly entertaining as a result, but it was also evidence as to why these teams have endured such miserable campaigns to date. When Jordan Pickford dived to push away Luka Milivojevic’s vicious drive in stoppage time at the end, Crystal Palace’s last hopes of moving back within vague touching distance of the pack were gone. This was another improved display but the worry is if Everton, an awkward mishmash of a team at present, cannot be overcome, then who can?' The Guardian

Can't argue with that........

Are we doomed then? Unsie looked happy enough. Of course some people are never happy. Hodgson was very unhappy.

I don't think were doomed but we're not going to turn it round over night. Players seem to think the confidence is coming back. Next prem game I'd go with the same team but swap Morgan for Beni or Davies. 2 games with no losses, onwards and upwards.

Got to be happy with a point today but still looked like U/12s team.
I still despise Clive Thomas..

Don't think we are doomed but def feel that Unsy is not the man to take over full time.
Are we there yet?

1st goal he was the weak link. 2nd goal, he should be cutting out cross at front post.

Those were only the ones they scored from, he let Benteke in behind a couple of times, plus several others.

Keane is an average defender, why has no one else asked why no one else went in for him other than Everton?

Every other club could see he needs to sit deep as his pace is non existent and he isn’t very good at reading the game.

We’ve brought a worse version of jagielka and jagielka is getting closer to 40 than 30 and has no legs.
So much for Steve Walsh’s brilliant scouting insight

Without a serious upturn in performances (which there's currently no sign of) I think there's a fair chance we could go down.

Obviously when the window opens we might buy our way out or hopefully Bolasie, Coleman and barkley can make contributions but this team under this management. We'd be lucky to survive from the evidence we see on maychd

Forget about Barkley, give a fuck if he plays again or not.

Man Utd were after him.
