We are so deep. Defending on our Penalty spot inviting free- kicks and crosses into the box. Niasse is 1 against 3/4 every time. Lookman? Change it and push up!

That's a lazy argument. Our points total is exactly what we deserve, it's why we have a league table. It's like the lazy argument that Niasse is shite, every week, after he scores or makes a goal, every week.

We are in a lot more trouble than our league position suggests

I'll take a draw right now. They are annoying but keeps them at bay rather than moving us up. Then another week passes to get Coleman and bolasie back.

No changes to either side.

Hodgson will be made up with that.

Edit: Commentators spoke too soon. Davies on. And DCL.

We just defend too deep and are too easy to get around at back. Baines has got Townsend and then Loftus-Cheek doubling up, then Keane causing him additional problems.

It's tough to score goals, but it's irrelevant because we can't defend.

i really like Unsworth as a manger, however today has finalised why he isnt right for the role for me. Im A UEFA A coach and i'm obviously no where near the level of Dave. But, i do understand the fundamentals of tactics and how he has chosen to set up and how his asking the team to press is a real concern. Against a team like Palace, under no circumstances should you be be initiating pressing when the team is deep into you half, he is then asking for the centre halfs and centre midfielders to play long balls into the striker.

Surely, you should be looking to control the game, if it wasn't for bad keeping and a dive we would be 2 nil down.

Double change Davies and DCL for Lookman and Schneiderlin?

The thing is, there's not a whole lot of quality in the middle of the Table.  Won't take much adjustment to get to around 10th.  Right now, we are in dumpster fire mode and still 15th.  Confident this squad gets by with almost any competent professional.

Maguire would've been a better signing than Keane, and much cheaper too.
