That's a fair comment. I often get quite irritated by the way the press questions are not included with the widely reported quotes of what people say. Context is king.

Reporter: So, Sam. Everton wanted Silva. What makes you the better man for the job?

Sam: Well I didn't get Hull relegated...

Reporter writes: Big Sam calls out Little Silva, calls him a nonce.

Silva: Fuck you Big Sam, you dinosaur. Peter Crouch is a God.

Peter Crouch: <sings> Like a virgin... touched for the very first time <sings>

*I may or may not be paraphrasing here.

If there is one certainty, it is that all headlines are paraphrasing what actually happened. Mostly depending on who the press are trying to provoke into an emotional reaction.

He might come good, but he was always the wrong man for us. Glad we have someone who knows what they're doing in right now. Stability is exactly what we need. Silva would not provide that.

Not sure, I think Watford is a nightmare club and that's the reason he wanted out when things were going well. I wanted Silva, but I'm also happy with how Sam is doing, that said I wouldn't be too upset if we got Fonseca I  during the summer, the football his team plays is great to watch

Losing 3-0 now at home to Huddersfield, a team that have scored about 2.6 goals all season.

Where's everyone who was so insistent we get Silva now?

Honestly, it's as if we hadn't already tried out having a manager who can't defend for shit and whose only PL achievement is getting a club relegated.

They're probably out enjoying their Saturday.
