Going down? Don't think so lad!

And we got huddersfield on the weekend.

Climbing up the league can be done!

Think Calvert Lewin was good tonight as well, won the penalty and put the defence under pressure for the Rooney wonder goal.

Couldn't have gone much better tonight.

First clean sheet in how long? With that makeshift back 4? Amazing.

And we're still the only team to take points off City.

He always does okay without ever having much of an impression. Needs some help so he can take a breather and go and pump some iron.

Can we just have Allardyce sitting in the director's box for the rest of the season while Unsworth gets on with it?

Do allardyce needs roughly 25 points for a massive bonus.

...great leadership and planning

Got to take the positives, hopefully this emphatic result instills some much needed confidence for everyone and Allardyce uses this as a platform to build on. Forget the manager, lets just get behind the team now, its about them. Similar to what Chelsea did with Benitez, never wanted him and binned of a year later but its about the players.

Got to take another 3 points on sat which possible moves us into the top half and Niasse back, lets see where we go from there.

Superb result and just what we needed.

Rooney, as always worked his socks off.  Was all over the pitch.  Have to say that sometimes he has little effect on the game, but no-one can deny his efforts tonight.  Amazing third goal.

WH bossed possession for a long time in the second half, but heads didn't drop.  JJK and Pickford were excellent.  Williams continues to frustrate in defence, but what a fine goal.  Most centre forwards would be proud of that.  Stick the lad up front and see what happens!

Besides their possession, thought WH were shit so I'm gonna keep this in perspective.  Great win and hopefully something to build on, but we will face much better teams soon.

Allardyce will have a nose bleed being this high up in the league.
Everton, ruining the transfer market since summer 2018
