Who did Palace buy last Jan?

Sunderland?

Think he got players you wouldnít have thought / heard of.

Plus, if this has been pushed by Walsh theyíre more likely to be, potentially at least, the type of signings that Walsh was supposed to make.

Clouds with silver linings everywhere!

He got Schlupp from Leicester. Van Arn Holt from Sunderland and Milevojevic I think.

Well we need left sided defenders!

You may hope but he never does any of that. He just signs a bunch of journeymen players on big contracts and lets the club deal with the consequences.

Ah but this is where the DoF steps in!

In fairness heís got massive self belief and given how heís always moaned about not getting a top job, then heíll really want to do well here to prove a point.

We could just re-hire Koeman if that's what we need.

Would say that heís very specific about the plans that he wants his teams to carry out so Iíd guess that heís much more coaching orientated than Koeman was.

Also it looks like some / lots of the squad need more permanent direction. Could be crucial point re the length of the deal and how they respond.

Silver lining number...4

We are currently the easiest team to play against probably in the whole football league.

As mentioned we wonít be with him in charge.

As long as the players do what he has told them to do.

Which raises questions about his attitude to young players and how itíll effect the development of Kenny, Davies, Benin, Lookman, DCL, Vlasic.....

Doesnt look like itíll be too much of an issue with an 18 month deal.

Be surprised if he sees 2019.

Can Moshiri really afford to be looking for his 3rd new manager in less than 3 years any time soon?

Iím not convinced heís here just for such a short time, seems like people are saying it just to make themselves feel better about this when the reality is no club hire a manager on a longish ,expensive, contract with a view to sacking them in the not to distant future.

Yes.

Clubs change manager frequently until they find the right one.

Weíve been the (almost) exception that proves the rule until recently.

I find it odd that the players said the wanted to play for Unsworth, yet the performances didn't show this. And yet last night they did play better.
Maybe the manager was not the problem at all.

Maybe it was the formation which didnít expose the back 4 so much?

Or that we went in front early?

Or that we got a bit of luck with them hitting the bar / missing a pen?

Quite a few things other than players giving / not giving a toss Iíd think.
