Careful mate. Only positive daydreams of Allardyce are allowed in this thread.  ;D
So you are doing it on purpose! 👍

He has an unshakable self-belief and doesn't suffer fools. Just what this squad needs.

With the exception of Newcastle,  perhaps, which annoyingly is his biggest appointment, are there any jobs where he has genuinely not met the targets he was set?

This squad needs someone who can galvanise it - not someone who can come in and alienate players.

Delusional fan bases? ;)

West Ham fans hated him from the day he said something about The Academy being a myth and it had never won them anything anyway.

He is a straight talker and that never sits well with football fans.

I don't think that will be a problem. He is close to his players and they are very loyal to him.

We could just re-hire Koeman if that's what we need.

He didn't play the 'West Ham way', wherever the fuck that is.

Oh shi#. I understand he organises defences. However I thought our back 4 includes a captain of Wales a 30 million purchase and 2 30 plus defenders with over 620 appearance so go figure that!!

Would say that he’s very specific about the plans that he wants his teams to carry out so I’d guess that he’s much more coaching orientated than Koeman was.

Also it looks like some / lots of the squad need more permanent direction. Could be crucial point re the length of the deal and how they respond.

As much as I expect it all to end in mid-table mediocrity, it would be hilarious if the Allardyce/Walsh “dream team” absolutely smashed it.

If it's him it's him. So be it. No time to waste. Get in there fire them up and straight up 3 points against west ham will get us back on track.
