We might see what a good partnership between a DoF and a manager will look like now.

Just trying to find the positives.

Is this true?

That's a complete joke.

On the one hand it's not my money so who cares.

But we're made to look a laughing stock to have our pants pulled down so publicly by Allardyce in a completely bungled negotiation.

And every agent, whether for a player or a manager, will know if they play their cards right with some very basic negotiating tactics, they'll be able to completely mug us off.

In contract terms usually when the salary per year is high it means the contract length is short.

It's 9m total. So Moshiri has to take that and make the best of it. Do you sign him to 2m a season for 4 1/2 seasons, or 6m a season for 18 months?

If we're stuck with him I'm happy it's the latter.

p.s.  I'm sure there's a clause in this contract about relegation. If we're relegated he won't see all of it.

You know what. I can live with that. As long as he doesn't get an excessive transfer kitty.

If the right manager is available, and wants to come to us, then I don't see Allardyce lasting past June 2018.
