If he plays back there he needs to quit those shocking lazy balls to the opposition he does at least once a game when he drops deep.

Don't mind if he gets a hat-trick

Not just a knee jerk reaction like from the West Ham game but I reckon we will anihilate these.

They haven't scored away from home all season so expect that to end like but I think we will be on a bit of a high here and these are proper shite.

He should keep the same team after a 4-0 win. Injuries/fatigue permitting. Keane and Niasse into the squad though.

Kind of seems that it shouldn’t work but for whatever reason it did

Both Rooney and Sigurdsson looked much improved and in turn so did the rest of the team

Rooney is naturally better at tracking back than Sigurdsson I think and provided good cover at left back, which Martina needed. Because he was operating from deep it meant that he didn’t have to do too much running to get there

I kind of wrote Rooney off weeks ago if I’m being honest. My thoughts were that we could only benefit from his finishing so he should be playing as an out and out striker. Have to admit I was wrong

He’s the most decorated player at the club, has the most honours to his name, is the record England and Manchester United goalscorer and I believe 2nd for all time Premier League goals. With this has come lots of experience and knowledge and I forgot what a genuinely intelligent player he is as well as one with great instinct

What he has lost somewhat is his pace and he’s not got the legs to be the last man bursting away from his defender. Put him deep though in a kind of free role and if he gets time on the ball then he can create from deep and we can make use of his vision. Also he is the most comfortable player we have receiving the ball from the defence. He has good awareness of what is around him and is less hesitant than Schneiderlin would be for example on where to move the ball

Sigurdsson needs to be further up that pitch for us to get the best out of him too I feel

Bolasie Sigurdsson Vlasic could be a good 3 attacking mids behind the striker in certain games I reckon

I’m starting to feel more optimistic about the season now. Just hope Sam starts with a win today

It was only a poor West Ham Stealth, wouldn’t get to excited.

Oh without a doubt I’m setting myself up for a fall and we will get dicked by Huddersfield today
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

Nah we’ll win fairly comfortably today, but its unlikely Rooney will have as much influence on the game or against anyone with a mobile midfield.

I think we will win but they were in the game for a long while before Arsenal finally got on top . Go for 2-0 DCL and Niasse if he plays .

Apparently, no new permanent Everton manager has lost a game in his first game in the Prem era. Big Sam has never won a game when taking charge for the first time either. I therefore predict a draw.

That works I think. Rooney there would allow Gana to have someone next to him with a brain and allow Scheinderlin to sit in front of the back 4 and do what he was good at last season

I think half our problem has been due to Koeman encouraging Gana to get further forwards in general. He really needs to focus on remaining as that anchor. It seems to me he's pivotal in our defensive midfield. That I think, is what has weakened our defence. I don't feel Schneiderlin should play until he bucks his ideas up.
