Great performance from Gana.

I've complained plenty about him not staying in position and offering nothing in attack but he's (mostly) stayed put today and he started the two moves that led to our goals. Excellent stuff. I'm made up to see him play like this again.

Yes he looks much better with a ball player like Rooney in there as he did when Barry was here

Holgate seems to be growing into that position too.

Is this really the same defence the looked so awful last Sunday?

How solid are they gonna be when Big Sam has a week to work with them.

Everton 2 up. Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Deserved that for all his hard work. Came just after a volcanic touchline reaction from Allardyce when some party pieces played Everton into trouble.

Haven't felt this relaxed watching Everton in ages. It's like the team has finally clicked.

Defence looks settled and solid, Gana is remaining in position where he's supposed to and when we attack, we do it with purpose and directness.

Bit of organisation and confidence and we're going in the right direction again.

Kenny really has grown into the position at fullback Martina plays more conservatively at left back and he looks better for it

Good game from Martina, too. I didn't think he was capable of it but he's stuck to his task defensively all match long.

Can we get rid of Sam now that we're safe?

No.

Let's not get carried away, this is Huddersfield, got a lot harder games to come, that said it will be nice to see us in the top 10 again

This is a huge difference for Martina. Being able to focus on his defensive play while out of position has helped him massively .
Got to remember we have a poor right back with no left foot playing left back, the lad is way out of his comfort zone

True, but we've struggled and looked shit against worse teams. Like Palace for instance.
