To a certain extent this. Think he was brought in to keep us up as we were in serious trouble regardless of people downplaying it. We should stay up but I've gotta say we 've been really shit again.

Got to say that in the past, I've looked on with interest as he's stabilised a number of clubs and prevented them from being relegated, not really understanding why supporters of those same clubs were typically eager to get shut of him almost immediately.

Now I understand.

Apparently he wants to be here when we go to Bramley Moore

Read that before the match and laughed....and then they kicked off.

Not sure why Calvert-Lewin isnít getting a start, if Tosun isnít ready. If Niasse isnít scoring a scrappy goal, heís offering nothing.

To be fair he's been plain that the first task is to avoid relegation and he's entitled to feel happy when he reaches that milestone. Nowhere has he said that reaching that point is the end product, once achieved then the club can start building for next season is what he says.
There is no dispute on his remit ,my problem is that that is all he needs to achieve to be happy ,no more .

How does a club in our position get those players the top clubs DO want? If we can't get them who is left EXCEPT the players the top clubs don't want?

Don't go for them in the first place and don't pay over the top for the likes of Sig . Look at the club long term in the same way as say Borussia Dortmund or RB Leipzig . Borussia don't try and compete in the market with Bayern and they lose their best players to Bayern and other clubs but they stick to a financial plan . Leipzig only sign players under a certain age who have a sell on value so they are willing to sell because they are looking for the next player in as much as the next out . Look at the players Liverpool have lost to bigger clubs . We got so hung up on Lukaku then when he left we were in the shit because we weren't looking for someone to replace him . Moshiri is fucking clueless and he is driving at 70 without a steering wheel . Bramley Moor and the future of this club is a fucking big bend in the road and we need someone in to build towards that and not to finish in the top 6 next season as it is not realistic . I would go for Slavisa Jokanovic as he has done just that at Fulham and has turned some good young players into the type of players the big clubs want . The sort of players who will die in U23 or perish on loan and be deemed not good enough if we stick with the footballing fossil Allardyce and the mischevious chimpanzee Moshiri .

To think Salah , Firmino and Mane all cost less than Sigurdsson .
