You won't find me defending Sam anywhere (it's not that difficult to check old posts - do it) but I fully admit to preferring sensible debate to insulting, childish and prejudiced posts that seem to litter the previous 182 pages.☺
Come next season I hope a few people can look back at this entire thread and laugh at themselves a bit.

If you do this up to 25th October, you'll get Koeman stats. About halfway on shots for, near bottom for shots against.

I've got Unsworth's stats, but not on me.

One thing not mentioned is efficiency. So while we concede twice as many shots as we take, we are 7th for goals conceded. It's the only area that Allardyce has improved. But stats show we are much less attacking than we were under Koeman, let alone after improvements under Unsworth.

The thing is I think Allardyce will think we have done OK today. We weren't turned over by a huge score, Burnley are higher in the table than us and he can bemoan a couple of defensive errors and the sending off.

We are playing to Allardyces level, his ambition and finishing around 10th is a great result for him.

This season cannot finish quick enough now. It is amazing how far we have gone backwards in just 12 months. Those on the board need to take note.
