Feels a lot like youre watching the u21s, and that to me is a good thing.

The big surprise tonight for me was Henderson. Hes always had a good engine on him but he showed some really good forward passing tonight, which is unusual for him.

Based on the last two games, Id have him starting over Dier.

Speaking of which, the current crop of U21s go for a hat trick of Toulon wins on Saturday against a Mexico side they drew 0-0 with in the group phase

That was the most I've enjoyed/been engaged in an England match for a long time, despite Clive Tyldesley giving us the Alexander-Arnold biography every 5 minutes.

Thought Rashford was excellent tonight.

Ronaldo 12/1 top scorer.

Iran and Morocco in that group (and Spain) so he should notch a few there.
First knockout stage Russia/Egypt/Urguay/Saudi Arabia. Could see him getting a couple there.

Reckon he'll have five in the bank before the QF stage.

I was in France for the 2006 world cup. That was my second favorite world cup after 1990. So much atmosphere. Good times. Until Zidane stuffed the final up.
