Early matches I'm looking forward too are Portugal/Spain, Argentina/Iceland, Costa Rica/Serbia, Germany/Mexico, England/anybody.
You come at the king, you best not miss.

Work have given me Friday off, and I was already booked off on holiday next Tuesday to go to London so I've booked Monday off too.  Not the best of games to take in, but it beats being at my desk!

Bit surprised to not see many of those little flags on peoples cars or is that not the done thing anymore? Always thought they looked a bit naff but to each their own.

Just proofread and subtitled an interview for Manny Fernandes.

So tempting to drop in a rogue line like 'snubbing Everton was the worst move of my career'!

Big fat Sam Quote" Draw against Tunisia would not be a bad result"

 if Sam was still in charge.....

v Tunisia - nobody wants to lose the first game, play defensively for the 0-0 and maybe nick a goal

v Panama - statistically the best chance of three points, play safe for 75mins, attack a bit if still 0-0 by then

v Belgium - they're far superior to us so no need to try, play the fringe players with 8 at the back, rest the first choice for the next round if we scrape through

Surely "Don't have an idiot for a manager" should come into the equation.

p.s

Did anyone  hear fat sam trying to say "Christiano Ronaldo" on Talkshite this morning?

Becoming a bit more like rugby? Pretty much a review of every score for infringements unless it's obvious there were none

Absolute scenes in the Spain camp.

Press conference called with rumours they’re about to sack the manager for taking the Madrid job.

Del Bosque rumored to be on his was to take over until they find a replacement. Madness
