Good for the host nation to be doing well and to be in the next round.

Also this Mo Salah love in will end tonight hopefully, he has had one fabulous season but is getting more plaudits than genuine legends of the game, Ronaldo and Messi.

Bet the Liverpool fans will blame this on Sergio Ramos being a secret agent for Russia, who was ordered by Putin to injure Salah.

It is no wonder Mo Salah did not play like he can, as it must be hard having to run around a pitch with the majority of the British sport media up your arse.

Hoping to see another fabulous performance by Ronaldo today. Toyed with the idea of putting him in my fantasy team before the tournament began, but went with a front three of Werner, Lukaku and Neymar, as they looked to have easier first couple of games.

Carvalho reminds of the cartoon character Droopy and Witsel is the spit of Rembrandt from The Warriors movie.

Ronaldo deserves all the plaudits as many who have coached him and played alongside him, all say that no one works harder than him to improve his game. He has been at the top for so many years and maintains such a high level.

Carvalho ambles about like Yaya Toure , thats where the similarities end really

Ziyech looks decent for Morocco

Looked like he was decelerating when he ran foward a moment ago.

Clive Tyldesley, gets on my nerves when he goes high pitched when saying any players name that ends in and I or a Y - I always think that his co-presenter has grabbed his privates at that moment.

This World Cup has been great so far, loads of goals, the big boys have not been all conquering and I love the fact that both the Senegalese and Japanese fans cleaned up the stadium after their games.

98 I missed most of as I was working and the club didn't have a TV in the bar at the time. I did watch the Brazil v Scotland match straight after my English Lit A-Level paper

Was off work for the first two weeks of that one with Chickenpox, so got to see a lot of the group games.

"That's all me that is, I put the foundations in place. I'm the greatest manager ever, isn't that right lads? Lads??"

He's been on Talksport this morning saying he was there hosting an event, with Robbie Savage - looks pretty sparse to me. He kept on saying that it was a nice burger but that they did not put any ketchup on it for him.

The media here will play on the fact that he was injured and totally neglect the obvious fact that Egypt aren't very good.

Hope now that the love in will end but there will be some (in the media) who will try ever so hard to mention him, just so they can look good.

Will be gutted for Tim Cahill, if he does not get to play today. Hopefully, he will get a chance to get the goal he needs.
