I'm doing some translation work for the World Cup (it's what I've always wanted to do, so buzzing to be involved) - but it means I have to watch as many matches as possible! 😃

Translating to Scouse?

The game between Argentina and Israel was cancelled when Lionel Messi refused to go there and said he is a human before a footballer. All the financial losses due to cancellation of game will be accomodated by the Argentine forward Messi. (Radio La Albiceleste)

I broke my arm that summer and my mum and dad got me the England kit, I was Gary Lineker, loved that World Cup

Be nice to see a few players/teams take a similar stance to the World Cup being held in Russia, but it's a huge sacrifice for them to make.

I won it with Wales on Fifa the other night. Beat England 3-2 in the final AET.

Bit grim the way the online version starts in the round of 16.

Took me 10 minutes to get to the final because of biffs dis-connecting any time I scored

I broke my same arm during the 86 and 90 world cups.

Was much more careful when 94 came around.

Just like England, Man Utd and Man City then.

You can’t compare Belgium to Man City, they’re system is vastly different to anything anybody else plays.

Young at United is a better comparison, but he will have been working on that a lot in training, I doubt Carrasco has.

Seems ridiculous Germany and Belgium are so unfancied.

Starting to get excited now lads. Reading lads of previews and just bought a wallchart for my son's bedroom, the countdown properly starts.

I fancy Germany to be honest, they're not the best squad but at the end of the day they're still the Germans.

England are far more watchable away from Wembley
I'm more trusting of fellas when they have my cock in their mouth
