So tell me, is football more popular than those sports?
At the grassroots level yes. Professionally? Maybe not. I'd argue its only less popular than AFL and cricket and cricket is a summer sport...

Average RL crowd is about 8000 for a game they’ve played competitively here since the 40s, cricket is fucked they can’t give the tickets away, Aussie rules is virtually a one state sport, Union isn’t popular except at national level however they are upgrading stadiums for football as the teams involved are having record requests for season tickets

I was going to say it also depends on the state. Qld football was more popular and rugby second. In NSW it was the other way round from memory.

Aerobics is the most popular sport in Australia?

Have you picked the least creible source known to man?

Plus taking things at an aggregate level is stupid. Particularly for professional. The AFL has 18 teams for fuck sake, A League has what, 10?

That's why it takes into account most searched, most attended and most participants. It just seems to paint a different picture than what you're saying. If the facts say otherwise, and say football is one of the most popular, then I'll change my opinion in line with the evidence.

Not particularly. I mean, they're not very good so it's not surprising but I've nothing against Australia. It just seems like they're not that into football, so it's hard to care or get behind them.
