Keane and Jags or Williams and Holgate

Which one is the lesser of both evils?

Or go wild with Keane and Williams or Jags with Holgate, or even Jags and Williams and Keane with Holgate

It's a tough one.

"The confidence they seem to have with one or two touch football is huge," he said.

"It's very very good but it can be stopped. What we don't want to do is play into Liverpool's hands. If they do a high press then why are we going to try and play out from the back. Is that a good idea or not?

"Playing into the right areas for us is what we must try and do."

Ahhhhh already prepping for the long ball for 90mins

He's right though isn't he?

Other than the likes of Chelsea or City who have the players to take the game to them every single team should set up like he says at Anfield.

Plenty of shite teams have got a result against them this way.

Hope to god jagielka doesn't play. He's finished, and used to losing at anfield, probably be hugging the redshite in the tunnel before the game. Rooney Captain. Same back 4 as last 2 in the league.

got to go with whose kept the clean sheets in the league to be fair its a no brainer, definitely don't want a back 5 just inviting them on, id go with a 433, rooney, gana and davies in the middle and siggy, lookman and niasse

Same team as the last two league games for me with the only possible change Niasse in for DCL.

Hes emphasised how we need to be careful in possession when we have the ball which for all his qualities would seemingly rule out starting with Niasse.

I expect itll probably be the same team again barring any injuries, maybe hell fancy Jags for Holgate for his experience but I doubt it.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

DCL will start, he's an out ball

I hope he doesn't go 5 at the back, were shite with 5 and it's basically saying come and attack us. 433/451. same back 4 which hasn't conceded together yet.

I expect the same team as the past two weeks. Their defenders are shit, so DCL's aerial ability is going to be crucial to taking the pressure off, and it's not like he hasn't got a chance either. If we can jump on the second balls, then we might be able to punish them. Doubt it though.

We could play 2-3-5 and well still be saying come and attack!

Does he have any history of a back 5 (genuine question)?

Even Pep has resorted to the long ball against Klopp's high press in Bayern v Dortmund. It's an effective way to combat that approach when done well.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Not sure, think he just favours 4231/451

He may be concerned at the way Liverpool are scoring so freely though and try the back 5, I wouldn't though personally think that's asking for trouble
