That redshite team still looks strong though.

Their defence looks appalling if we can get at it.

Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Their line up is really annoying.

I could take losing to them as we're away from home and they're the form team, but them resting players for a derby just shows how little they care about it, and they'll probably win anyway

Think they know what to expect and have gone for a couple more physical options to start, with the option of changing it up once we get knackered.

i hope the players don't share that psychology, but simply view them as weakened...

2 things i want to see today. wayne rooney taking no shit from anyone in BLUE. and, ashley williams not giving away a pen/own goal/howler. if we can get these 2 we might be alright. i want to see rooney do for us what gerrard used to do for the shite.

Would have liked to have played with atleast one winger.

Lennon is great at tracking back and their pace worries me

They could play their reserves and we'd still shit ourselves.  lolol Our players are designed to fold when they go to Anfield, it's in our blood.

Have we had two red cards in one derby before?  The two today will be Davies and Williams in that order.

Hope we kick them to bits today. Nervous and we have a long history of bottling this fixture but if we get it right defensively we've a decent chance

I know they had two in one game. Their keeper and Fowler, and someone went off for us. Can't remember who.

Rooney is key today. We havenít had a player in our team for a derby for a while that actually knows what the games means to us.
