It was game over the second they got a goal.

20% possession and one shot in the first half, and if we got more offensive then they will just tear us apart.
"There are no desperate situations, only desperate people."
"When we have lost everything, including hope, life becomes a disgrace, and death a duty"
"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed, second it is violently opposed, and third, it is accepted as self-evident."

To be fair though, and I’m clutching a bit here, as much as they’ve had of it they hadn’t really made Pickford work

The pundits are still putting us down. This is all a part of Big Sams plan. ;)
Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

TheRam: Don't go there.
Well there may be no score, but there's certainly no lack of excitement here. As you can see, Nietzsche has just been booked for arguing with the referee. He accused Confucius of having no free will, and Confucius he say, "Name go in book". And this is Nietzsche's third booking in four games.

Martina is a mid-table Eredivisie player (at best). He never had any chance of being able to defend 1 v. 1 at this level.

Based on early season form, I'm impressed that he's even staying in position.

Ronald Koeman should be up in The Hague for bringing him to Everton.

Think weve actually done quite well. They are miles ahead of them and theyve had 1 shot on target. Unfortunately we now have to completely change our approach

Martina keeps making these girly “side foot” challenges, he’s not letting Salah know he’s there.

20% possession. Bare in mind all the teams in the league. All the shit they play in the cups. No other teams will be as low as that. Why?

Carragher: “Well Everton have been embarrasing...”

Cheeky high-pitched bastard.

Nothing is worse than Phil Neville talking about how we need to be brave on the ball.

Fucking ridiculous from someone who played in quite a few of these and did nothing but hoof it.

Apart from the last 30 times we've played them you mean?
20% possession is a whole new level of scaredy pants. Their midfield have 10 yards of space to move into every time they have the ball. When we have it they give us 20cm.

This is what you get with big sam unfortunately.

Can't really see how we could approach it in any other way though.

Soon as that shambles of a defence is exposed it's panic stations.
