So, I know we have some foreign side in the week that noone cares about but let's start the Derby build up

Anyone think we have a chance? I cant see us not conceding early doors and I can't see how we can chase a game agaisnt them, they are so fast and scoring for fun at the minute

I really hope Allardyce let's unsworth take the u23s and anyone who is not involved on Sunday to Cyprus and he works with everyone else all week as a huge priority

We are gonna have to defend for dear life and try somehow to hit them on the break.

Worst day of the year for me

Anyways

Pickford
Kenny Williams Holgate Martina
Davies* Rooney Gueye
Lennon DCL Sigurdsson

*Davies I'm not sure on but fuck it

We're nowhere near the bottom. We're 7 points behind Spurs (which is mad).
7 off spurs 8 off bottom 3

Gotta sit as deep as fuck, keep our shape and have pace on the break, in addition to threatening them from set pieces. That's the blueprint to beat this lot. That might unfortunately mean letting Coutinho have 12 shots from 30 yards, and taking out chances, but so be it.
Could Besic do a job on coutinho
He did a job on Messi and bale

Not really is it. If some of your own supporters don't believe you've got a cat in hells chance why should you expect a neutral to?

Did either of them suggest it's better the games called off due to adverse weather conditions or simply forfeit it?

I'd hope there's enough professional pride and desire to win already within them because if they're relying on a pair of pundits to stir them up Allardcye is fucked.
I think a lot of that is said in jest tho

Everton accepted their Christmas gift - and scuttled back to Goodison Park as if they'd won a trophy.

Who knows if they switched the Xmas sweaters for robbers' stripes on the way.

They'd dragged a point out of a Merseyside derby they'd barely contributed to in an attacking sense courtesy of their second penalty at Anfield since 1937.

Due then to be fair.

Of course it was soft and Dejan Lovren clearly felt hard done by, being dragged away from referee Craig Pawson after the game.

Calvert-Lewin had pushed the Croatian as much as the other way round but his arms were up and in sight of the referee and it was just an unnecessary risk from the player who so often seems to be at the centre of such issues. He'd had a decent game until then too but he cost his team the win.

No id fucking love to, more than anything, but can you see it happening?

Got a bit jammy yesterday with Salah missing a sitter and Mane not passing. Can you see the plan working any better in three weeks?
id be hopeful that we can hold onto the ball better
Maybe a tweak or two player wise and then yeah, maybe it could
