we´re now 9-0 in 3 games since sam was named manager. i´d take 10-0 in 4. if he beats the shite on sunday i reckon he´ll have a whole lot of fans on board. i really hope he does it. i want to be a sam fan.

Two of those games he wasn't involved in

Always good to beat shite teams though, builds confidence going in against the likes of Liverpool

I don't take this as evidence of Allardyce or Shakespeare's genius at all.

On the contrary, I think it adds to the mounting evidence that the previous manager was an absolute shambles, that we have plenty of talent and that any vaguely competent manager would be able to get a decent tune out of the vast majority of our squad.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

It's taken the new coaching staff less than a week to get the team organized. Even the reserves.

What have we been doing in training all season? Or for the last four years, for that matter?

I don’t care how big his bonce is or if he’s as crooked as my pecker so long as we keep winning I’ll love the bastard

Seems to me the whole club looks to be on a more level footing in the past week. Let's face it, if we'd have put a team like that out 3 weeks ago in all likelihood, they would have been hammered. Considering the lack of experience, they did a very good job of it tonight.

I don't understand the need to make things up to be positive about to be honest

We've seen some great goals tonight - there's a positive

Weve kept three clean sheets - there's a positive

The players look like they give a shit - there's a positive

To try and crowbar in positivity about something that just isn't the case does nothing but cheapen the actual positivity to be honest

Allardyce had nothing to do with he West Ham win. And tonight was a load of players who've never played together competitively in a dead rubber which he didn't even go to.

It's great to win away in Europe but credit those who did it, and those who were there on the sidelines.

May as well give these results to kenwright if we're giving it to anyone who we feel needs a boost with the fans

............it's quite clear there has been an uplift in performance since Allardyce was appointed ,despite him having very little direct involvement . Which is what the OP was suggesting.
We are special ,we are Everton.

Allardyce doesn't have to be at the game to have influence.

The mood and tone he sets around the club can quickly lead to an environment where players feel more confident, determined to do their best, follow instructions on the pitch etc.

Obviously this is just speculation, I've no idea really.

Allardyce scored a hat trick from his sofa using only his cock

Then saved a penalty with his tongue before sky writing "kopites are gobshites" using his farts

He's gonna have to win the World Cup and the US Open to get you onside
