Hes believes hes better than he actually is, hes still class though and the best striker I have seen at us in my time.

Noticed he still has an awful touch though, still dont think he will ever be that top top level striker.

I love his arrogance. He's driven to be the best he can possibly be. He might not get there, but he's giving it a bloody good shot. Good on him.

Love Rom, me.

Louis Saha was better.

Agreed. On his day, and when he was at Utd he was World class. Shame about those injuries.

Hate arrogance. You can have confidence and ambition, but there's no need to be a dick about it.

I can't think of anyone at the very, very top who isn't arrogant. I honestly feel it's an important attribute in reaching the pinnacle. Unwarranted arrogance is irritating, and I think that's where people's gripe with Lukaku is. He's still 24 though, so he's got time on his hands to become one of the very best.

Edit: he's 25. Same applies.

It's stuff like speaking about himself in the third person, and always talking about his destiny etc. It's pretentious and completely lacking in self-awareness. Get a bit of humility in your thinking, Rom. You sound fucking ridiculous, lad.

Kathie: Is there a way to win?

Was it Julius Caesar who used to speak about himself in the third person as well?

Caesar had a far better strike rate too.

Think in all the lad still believes the absolute tripe his old man spouts about him ....if he had a first touch he would be special maybe and could be a great.......its never improved in reality a bouncy castle has better control and he still goes missing against the top clubs or when service isn't put on a plate for him ...like it was through us .

As for the third person thing ... just makes him come off looking a complete yoghurt.
