Blatant as well. However the Sky narrative is against them isn't it....

"It was shit, but fuck me, an away win." - Sam Allardyce.

Feels like something he'd say anyhow :)

That was not as controlled as Big Sam would probably like us to believe. We gave them way too much and provided ourselves with barely nothing.

Made up with the snidey point and there were flashes of quality stuff but we shat the bed early and couldn’t get our foot on the ball for ages.

Really happy with the point but we need to allow less chances.

Three points, dude

I'm not sure why people are saying this, they created nothing in the last ten minutes and not much during the rest of the game. Pickford didn't have a decent save to make and hitting the post might as well hit the corner flag as you get just as many goals for it.

And both times they hit the post it was with long distance rockets. Didnt create a decent chance all match. If we add a couple of attacking players with real quality we have a good side

Vlasic likes to put himself about a bit.

Well done Everton, an away victory plus a bonus clean sheet, our defence seems to have turned a real corner.

Everton are making a good habit of winning on my birthday - just like last year's game vs. Arsenal!  :)

Not pretty, but results are what counts. Minge tight defence to. Happy days.
Pray tell, where do you go for your tight minges ??

Thought the whole defence did well .No goals and a win what more do we want ?

I don't want a Championship side dominating us for the first 45 minutes, and making us look terrible, while we should have been down by 1 or 2.

I don't think that's much to ask for.

Late goals for West Ham and West Brom would send Newcastle into the relegation zone too.  Being greedy now.

Classic Allardyce away performance to be honest, score early, shut up shop and frustrate the life out of them. Okay they had a couple of efforts from range that hit the post/bar but overall we deserved it. Could have scored another 1 or 2 ourselves.

I never thought having a Holgate and Williams pairing would result in only conceding 1 goal in 4 or 5 games. excellent stuff.
