Martinez called a spade a JCB. Koeman called it an Interglot, always a bit too Dutch for us. Big Sam calls a spade a spade, but he's from the Midlands so he would, wouldn't he. Up to now, he's doing OK. The main thing for me is... he's calling the players out. All of them. If nothing else he's here to steady the ship and lay foundations. He seems to be doing his job as was intended as far as I can make out. Koeman cleared the deadwood. We need someone to clean up Koemans misfiring project. I do like the idea that he's big enough to look after himself in the manager go-round too.
