Roque Mesa's just gutted that Oscar Isaac got his job on the new Addams Family film.

If Tom Davies is in the mood he would be ideal for a scrappy game like this. Pretty poor that first half.

It's no reason to pick lots of defensive minded ones at home against the bottom club though.

I don't know. I think the only way we can play anymore attacking is to play players you can't currently be sure of a base level out of. We are utterly lacking in pace, playmaking and dribbling. The only fix is to play sandro lookman and or vlasic. I think allardyce is just thinking we have a better chance being defensive with the current personal. So far he's probably been right

We need new attacking players. Think we should judge the performances after the window. Currently we are dull but picking up great results. We were dull and getting fuck all before allardyce

Get Rooney off pens for fucks sake.

Lennon done really well to win that, the only one showing anything from the midfield.

I know I'm a broken record but Morgan is offering nothing again. He's nowhere a defensive midfielder should be when we're off the ball, and does nothing to dictate a tempo when on it.

Gana can easily do what he's doing so far, allowing Davies to come on and move us up the pitch and quicken the play.

He could actually get sent off instead of subbed and it not make a noticeable difference to our play.

Swerve the two DM's. They're not causing us enough problems to warrent it. It just causes confusion in the Midfield.

      Gana Rooney
Lennon  Sig    Vlasic

I was late in from work, turned on the game and first thing we do is get a pen and score (just).

What's the half been like up till then?

I would have Vlasic on over Davies and drop Rooney alongside Gueye

Awful.

Hoping Big Sam is in there hurting some player's feelings right now. Need to pick up big time. Thankfully we're level.

Up there with one of the dullest halfs of football ever, even the crowd are asleep. The pen was the highlight so you did well.

Holgate's vertical passing is quietly excellent. He's earned his spot in the team.

He will have known the team before tonight. No way that's happened.

Rooney is so influential but his legs look heavy tonight. I would take him and Lennon off and bring on Lookman and Vlasic, so Sigurdsson can play through the middle.
