Settled down a bit now, putting some attacks together.

First 20 mins was knives to a bunfight

Never been to one of those before....

I have, you throw buns at each other until one team is creamed.

Then the knives turn up and you all die.

Chelsea were the knives of course  ;D

You have to clarify posts like this, mate; anyone not watching will assume we've conceded a goal.

Sorry was on about him heading against our crossbar

What the fuck was he doing????

To be fair we're not exactly playing any decent football.

It's fine for the moment until we're sure we're out of trouble but long term it can't continue like this, it's no way to progress to where we want to be.

I'm happy with Sam for the minute and he's got us the results but he'll need to get us playing decent football if we're ever going to get anywhere near the likes of Chelsea

Be interesting to see what happens in the window - if he goes for some flair or sticks with the workmen like route

Iím not watching but itís not good when your at home and have 4 shots to the opponents 22 and giving them 68% possession

Yeah its pretty dire to watch.

We've rode our luck and Chelsea deserve it, just hoofing it up front is pointless against a team like this as it just comes straight back for the whole game.

We need to do something in possession but you can't if you just hoof it up front all the time, we've hardly created anything

Niasse would have got to that ball that Sandro didn't get to then.

Yeah was a very decent chance to get in behind there  :headbang:

Good discussion starter.  No one can score vs. Allardyce's Everton!  So job #1 complete in terms of escaping the relegation threat, now we need Barkley back and a few more attacking players and a top striker.  We won't have to park the bus when we get the quality players to push forward.

Defence: Playing out of their skins, very very good

Attack: Very poor today, hardly any attacks built

Such a lopsided team, need some real quality in the final third and it might all click

I think Barkley has played his last game for us unfortunately mate, think he's off to Spurs in January (unless they don't want to pay and get him for free at the end of the season)

It's worth noting, and I say this because it seems to be completely ignored.

Coleman, baines, rooney, Barkley, bolasie and gueye for half of the game. Half of our team out injured and all of them are our creative output

Keep forgetting Rooney wasn't playing, he would have given us some more control and attacking options, good point you make to be fair

We're getting into the habbit of pissing other managers off, Klopp, Rafa and now Conte

Reckon Conte is easy to wind up, he always looks a second away from losing his shit
