One thing I would like to say is, how well Besiktas fans have come across during this possible transfer, both on here and on twitter.

We all know how passionate and devoted Turkish football fans are generally but I think the comments and goodwill that I've seen towards Tosun and Everton reflects really well on Besiktas and their supporters.

All the Turkish fans in fact. They are absolutely bonkers about their own sides, but they all support other Turks outside of Turkey wholeheartedly.

I’m sure I read once that if a great rival is in the CL and no other Turkish team is left in it, they all get behind whoever is left and always root for them.

Nah he’s arguing against signing proven PL players.

I’m honestly not sure what the answer is. I like the look of this fella to be honest but I am worried about his quality of league and the small sample size of CL opponents. And I guess we’re not paying ‘cheeky gamble money’ where it doesn’t matter if it goes well or not we are paying top whacko that we could well struggle to get back.

Dunno what to think, but if there ever comes a day when everton can sign some mad goal machine from a foreign league who I’ve never seen play and I’m not able to muster even a bit of hope and excitement, then put me out my fucking misery.
