Sure but my main point is he can't possibly be match fit having just been playing the tourist in London for the past week.
Well how about first half 11 behind the ball soak up what they have, then throw him on for the last 30mins assuming he is cleared

He only played last week in the cup. He'll be fine for at least an hour

Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them

Nice to have one over the line in a position we really need to strengthen.

I kind of feel sorry for him already, he hasnt even signed yet and hes already our number 1 striker who most of the goal scoring responsibility is placed on. Its a shame we cant give him time to get used to the surroundings and teammates, im assuming he'll be on the bench for the first game after signing then be on within 60 minutes.

Am I missing something?

Yeah the bi annual transfer meltdown.

How could you have forgotten the anointing of our Spainish Prince Sandro during the kids euros or the angst ridden January in 2017 until “Big Morgs” came riding down the East lancs? Or.....well I’m sure you get the picture
now.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

The Besiktas president has said that the striker Cenk Tosun will join Everton and that the transfer will be completed by the weekend.

The negotiations between the two clubs have been ongoing for several weeks and the two parties met in London on Wednesday, agreeing a deal which will see the 26-year-old join the Premier League side for £27m.

“Our interests and the players interests are important,” Fikret Orman said. “Cenk wants to join Everton. We want to do our part and we are working on a replacement.

“The era of buy, buy, buy is over. This is the era of buy, add value and sell. A final deal has not been reached yet but we have an agreement over the price. The end is near. The transfer will be wrapped up by the weekend.”

We used to do that quite well. Now because everyone knows we have money we buy at the top and we'll probably have to pay players to leave.
