Then thought he could go to Atlético and wanted to boost his personal stats, hence penalty incident.

Done barely anything since then and doesn’t seem to have the acceleration over 5 yards to gain space to shoot / cross.

Bit of shame it ended like this but he's hardly played these last 18 months so time to go, brilliant player on his day. Say what you want but he will have contributed more than many other wingers weve had at the club, like Lennon, bolasie, vlasic, delefeou by the time they've finished with us.

Decent player especially at first, but never quite had the consistency or the attitude to achieve more than he did.  Some of his finishing was clinical, but he'd also be totally anonymous for runs of games too.

Last couple of years it looks a bit like his legs have gone and he's not got the sharpness to create space and get himself in to goalscoring opportunities.

Bit of a bellend, don't hate him though.

A little clear out taking place of players unwilling to fight for team, club and their place. He has been under 4 managers now, I don't think he has ever finished 90 minutes?  Obviously no manager has trusted him? Some nice goals over the years, but little else. Wage bill reduced too.

Was really excited when we first signed him and in the first 2 and a half seasons he was a real asset.

But since that penalty farce vs. West Brom he hasn't really been the same player. He'd come with a moment of creativity from time to time but I guess it's best for all involved that he goes back to Olympiakos.
