I think the Goodison faithful cheer louder for a slide tackle than a goal lol. Love a good slidey don't we?

United stepped it up and their quality is a different level.

They ain't have real quality. Which shows us... yep.

The game of nothingness. Again. Oumar is still trying though.
Well there may be no score, but there's certainly no lack of excitement here. As you can see, Nietzsche has just been booked for arguing with the referee. He accused Confucius of having no free will, and Confucius he say, "Name go in book". And this is Nietzsche's third booking in four games.

Great tackle, McCarthy.

Pogba is a grade A melt.

Melt is a word that should be used more often

Guaranteed yellow for McCarthy and a breakaway United goal for 2-0 in the next five minutes.
Dignity does not consist in possessing honours, but in deserving them

McCarthy has helped us get a foothold on this game. Great sub from Allerdyce.

Even taking into account his struggles, is there any reason for Davy Klaassen not to be ahead of McCarthy in this situation?

I don't think Klaassen is the right type of midfielder either. He doesn't look for the ball and he doesn't dribble. From what I've seen, he mostly just moves around in search of space, occasionally contributing a nifty touch to open something up. Like a slow, passive Thomas Muller, or something like that.
