Disappointed but hardly surprised. Jags was superb. Holgate is improving as is Kenny we are missing a striker with better ability on the ball and strength I am hoping Tosun offers that. Need to just let Sigurddsson play in that 10 role, he's a threat there and always looks poor out wide.

Decent performance
Fucking gutted like
But Holgate and Jags were good , sig the same and needs to play in the middle, lookman looked a breath of fresh air and Bolasie is showing signs that he’s back. We need a striker and hopefully we’ve just sorted that.
The only down side (other than fucking losing to those gobshites again) is that it was clear we have no height at the back - and paid for it.

It's kind of messed up that Jags is our second fastest CB.

Maybe Allardyce thinks that Sigurdsson needs to be there to assist Martina?

Not that I saw him doing it much tonight, though.

Holgate was fantastic today he's going to be great next season.

Really annoyed Niasse left the post there. Avoidable goal

Getting?

We haven't beaten them for 8 years.

and for most of that they've only finished 1-3 places ahead of us.

Demoralizing.

Was impressed with how we played tonight. Has to be space in the team for Lookman more often IMO.

Jags superb. Sig needs to play number 10. McCarthy was boss for large parts, needs match fitness that he probably won’t get as he’ll be out for 12 weeks no doubt after playing 85mins.

Bolasie deserves a mention as well, worked his socks off and was our only threat for an hour.

Just a joke how much they twat us all the time.

We really are a sub-par side though, so much shite in that squad.

I dont think theres a single player who you can say had a bad game.  Holgate made one mistake, but was outstanding the rest of the game.  Schneiderlin was as good as he was last season.  Sigurdsson worked his arse off again and deserved his goal.  Bolasie's tricks and how happy is makes me smile.  He even got a couple of great crosses in.  DCL is a nuisance, working hard, showing great pace and intelligence, but lacks that little bit of quality/experience.  Lookman was positive when he came on.  McCarthy did well to get away with rattling them for so long without getting booked.

And we still fucking lost there.

Rooney?

DCL and Niasse simply aren’t enough. Hopefully Tosun will be a more complete striker.
