A good year for the club. Obviously largely down to the new TV deal but despite the "Lukaku's sale covered this" shouts on social media, these accounts only cover the 16/17 financial year so don't cover the sale.

Pretty great year. Hopefully setting a trend for future seasons

Moshiri handed the club 150 million pounds. Not bad for a fraud.

Commercial performance interesting from my POV as an area for growth/alarming lack of growth, but Iím sure thise involved in any kind of massive industry will say sponsorships and stuff which is true.

Thereís a BIT of fiddlement going on with moshiriís loan not being counted as a debt because itís interest free so weíre putting a bit of makeup on the old pig but I would say itís generally positive if serving to remind us all how far away from the big boys we truly are.

Would like to see other clubs reports, particularly for % of growth etc. on each area.

Other operating costs gets a special mention so there will be a few happy conspiracy theorists no doubt rightly or wrongly.

I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Weíve hired a new head of marketing. Not likely to represent a sea change but will hopefully make better use of our ecom arm.

With his crm and insights experience Iíd expect him to be able to see the money on the table from an international POV and maybe we can start exploring new markets or segmenting existing ones to get more juice.

We should be in good shape when we figure out how the whole football thing works.

............according to his Linked-in profile he's done similar jobs at Hull and Birmingham.

Yes sounds like it.

Depending what KPIís we give him I would assume it will be everton membership stuff, ecom stuff...basically the stuff I mention above which looked like it had a better potential for growth. Commercial and other commercial.
