Didn't it turn out that Barkley and Stones have the same agent?

yeah, so basically his agent says "unless you do this deal then I'm not doing that deal" and Barkley gets blamed

agents have been running the game for ages, but it seems Evertonians have only just caught on thanks to some voodoo curse being lifted, or something

Probably not as much as a transfer but surely agents get a fair wedge for contract renewals don't they? Also, if Ross had ever indicated a willingness to stay I'm sure he'd still be here.

most footballers just let their agents get on with it don't they?

his agent won't have had to work too hard to get in his ear though.  it's not as if his manager called him out in public at all, or dragged him off at half time and slated him afterwards, or he got dropped from the England squad because he wasn't being played at Everton by his manager.  And it's not like the manager at the time had form for being an absolute twat to players he didn't like, was it?  and it's defo not like the club's major shareholder (not fucking majority, he's made fucking sure of that, Liverpool fucking Echo) went on live TV and slagged him off is it?

making Barkley want to leave Everton will be his agent's easiest job ever thanks to Koeman and Moshiri

Can't argue with that, but didn't he have the initial contract offer before Koeman started, when things were going well and he was playing for both club and country?

the counter argument is Ross probably saw that Martinez was on the way out and wanted to see who his replacement would be, whether that individual would improve him as a player as well as back him in the way of starts and appearances

As said, Koeman began slating him to the press almost immediately. Warranted? maybe, handled as if Ross was a valued Everton asset, clearly no.

Sick to death of hearing about Barkley. He is a Chelsea player.

Surely the reality is he never had any real intention of signing because he could get a hell of a lot richer and play at a higher level if he didn't

Not about koeman or Martinez or moshiri. It's about barkley wanting champions league football and 10 million signing on fee. Sick of people making excuses for him. Making out people forced his hand. It's Everton that got the shitty end of the deal and him that got rich

Now that the Judas bastard has joined Chelsea what’s the bet he’ll be straight back into the England squad?

I'm getting confused with too many negatives and possibly sarcasm so I have no idea what you mean but yes Koeman did improve Ross's football intelligence.

koeman can't be blamed for improving him with some soft public comments, because essentially koeman massively improved barkley during the 2nd half of last season his tackling his effort his all round game improved due to koeman making these comments in public which had the desired effect that it was intended.smalll minded barkley probably couldn't see that. shat on us from a great height and i hope he rots on there bench because thats not how you treat people that have looked after you all your life.
