Sad to hear Cyrille Regis has died. He was big, quick, had a thunderous shot and scored goals.

He played in an era when it was easier for clubs to keep hold of their better players otherwise I'm sure he would have played at a very top club.

Oh man, that sucks.

Him and Laurie Cunningham, man.

Would've got far more than his five caps if he didn't play during those hideous times... although that tide is gradually turning back, I feel.

Yep, 'powerhouse' describes him best. Had thighs the size of tree trunks.

Sad news.

Me to, fast and all power. Peter Barnes on the left whipping them in for big Cyrille to run onto.

What was the guy called who played in the 10 roll, was it Costello?

Really sad news. Went through so much in his footballing career. He was a very talented player, who suffered lots of racist abuse. Should have won a lot more than the paltry 5 international caps that he did. He was much better than golden boy Mark Hateley.

RIP Cyrille!

And Laurie Cunningham on the other flank, fast powerfully team, if I remember right, Ron Atkinson as manager.
