Would any of our squad get into Manchester Cityís starting 11?
No

Would any of our squad get into Manchester Unitedís starting 11?
No

Would any of our squad get into Liverpoolís starting 11?
No

Would any of our squad get into Chelseaís starting 11?
No

Would any of our squad get into Tottenhamís starting 11?
No

Would any of our squad get into Arsenalís starting 11?
Maybe Coleman, no one else.

We have a very long way to go

We have lots of average journeymen players on big wages

7th place after our start is the very best we can hope for, but Koeman May have cost us to many points to close the gap on the likes of Burnley and Leicester.

subjective post that because the inference is that everton players are never good enough to make the top 6 teams...

yet lukaku and Barkeley were part of this original squad and yet they've gone to top 6 clubs...

pushing the limit a bit so was Fellaini....etc etc etc...

Lukaku yes but he has gone

He is not in the current squad

I did say current squad

Our best players are too old or couldn't get enough starts for the big clubs

Accept the facts, we deserve to be where we are

And yet some fans expect Allardyce to turn us into world beaters with this squad of journeymen

If you keep buying United, Arsenal and Tottenham reserves or failures, donít be suprised if you consistently finish beneath them

What you reckon on DCL, Lookman, Keane, Davies, Holgate, Vlasic, Onyekuru being good enough for one of the teams in 18 months time?
What about Pickford? reckon Liverpool wouldnt cut their left bollocks off for him? yet he's shipping a shit load of goals at the moment isn't he?
Was Rooney not getting a game for United not 8 months ago?

I'm not sure what your actual point is here. that we'r enot good enough to finish in the top 6?
Nobody is going to argue with you really.

That 7th is the best we can hope for?
With Allardyce's tactical innovation of trying to score goals without having a shot i would suggest even 7th is out of reach.

As usual itís all big sams fault

My point is simple - the squad is average, why people expect miracles against the top teams like Chelsea, United, Liverpool and spurs in recent weeks is beyond me.

Some people simply ignorant of reality and display real hatred for one of the games best managers.

Please get behind the club or find another one

We are Everton

Captain Obvious salutes you for your un-paralleled level of observation.

yes Lukaku was part of this current squad..as was Barkeley .......which is why I said the post is subjective...

now you've diversified onto "a blame the manager culture" ? and "everton fans expect.."

The basic point is like everything else in this world everything has a price.... what if for example Chelsea really fancy beningemi ?
spurs fancy davies ? city fancy Holgate?

how do you know they don't and wont make an offer for them at some stage in the future...

very subjective to try anticipate and predict the future

Not sure why you keep rabbiting on about lukaku and Barkley

Neither are in the current squad

If I wrote this post back in June then you would have a point but itís Jan 18

I havenít anticipated the future
Once again I wrote this today Jan 18, not in 2 years time Jan 20.
I donít predict the future

Current squad, current ability, at this moment not 6 months ago and not in 2 years time!

But the squad as it stands is average at best.

I'm rabbiting on about it because once again your facts are incorrect.....
and i'm asking how do you know that any of the "BIG 6" aren't CURRENTLY planning to buy any of our players ? Blowing your point, your trying to badly make, completely out of the water..

But hey you keep thinking these posts up and living in your world.....

Pickford gets into the Arsenal and Liverpool teams no danger and possibly the Spurs side.

Sigurdsson would get game time at the above as well and probably Gana, and if he was a youth player Holgate for any of the respective clubs above us heíd likely feature at times.

Thatís ignoring the fact Walcott and Rooney were regulars for top 6 teams last season as well.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

No it hasnít
And not a single player of the current squad has come in for any links with any of the big 6.

Your really struggling here, and I donít like to see a fellow blue like this.
