Wish him all the best, superb from Coleman to go straight to him. Massive respect to Jay Rodriguez as well, for sitting with him and holding his hand

Rondon in tears also. Shocking injury for McCarthy, you have to feel for him.
All the best for the recovery.

He has to join the group of unluckiest footballers in the PL era.

There's a good player in there but injury has curtailed all chance. Sad.

Redshites already tweeting stuff about this, same as they did with Coleman, what a classy bunch they are.

Career ending injury for him I reckon. What a pity, he was just starting to look a bit sharper as well

Christ! I missed the first 20 mins of the 2nd half, so only just found out. Would explain why there was 7 minutes of injury time.

Gutting and I think he's a good player. I get the feeling this might be it for him. Hope I'm wrong

I saw him go down and the my stream froze. Took ages to get back up again and by the time it had, he was being stretchered off so wasn't sure what had happened. Damned unlucky with these injuries and a shame for him to go down injured yet again, especially the way it happened. Will take some serious mental strength to come back from it. He was slowly playing his way back into my first 11 as well.
