Any reason he's got it over someone with actual knowledge of the women's game and being apart of it?
Or is it just because he played for United and points and shouts a bit?
Well he's coached at a pretty high level with Utd and Valencia. Hard to determine whether he was actually any good, as let's face it we don't get much insight into backroom staff.
I think the Women's game is at a bit of a crossroads, and whilst I'm sure there are individuals with a greater knowledge of the game, the profile needs lifting.
Like it or not Phil Neville brings a higher profile than anyone involved. Also, none of us have a clue as to his depth of knowledge of the women's game.
Interested to see how he gets on.
