"That's a difficult skill", sure it is, but fuck me that was worse than my attempts.

To be fair to him, he shouldn’t be making him debut 3 days after signing in an unfamiliar system for a team with no ball retention.

To be absolutely fair to him, he should still do the basics, like not turning your back to a shot, or not getting your legs in a tangle when trying to clear.

Or not tracking a runner on a corner.

Oh yeah, completely forgot about that. :)

We’re the worst team in the Premier League, with the worst manager and won’t win another game this season.

Don't be silly, we'll easily win 3 more and that will be that. It doesn't change the fact that we're shit, but let's be realistic.

What???!!

As an example, just rewatch the set piece goal, and concentrate on Mangala - then tell me he isn't partially to blame for that goal. That is defending a corner so nowt  to do with Sam's formation.

You cannot absolve the players of blame - most have been terrible.

Thankfully it's not an either-or situation: some of the players are shit and the manager is shit too. Not least of all for picking the shit players even when he's got other options.

So, it's the players that are to blame again.

That's nice, good to know.

He's confused about inconsistency?

You're playing a different team every game

Maybe he doesn't realise the players who performed against Leicester aren't the same players he sent out against Arsenal?

Classic Sam - the game plan and set up was solid essentially, if only those stupid players would have listened to his instructions and carried them out properly

The sad thing is, there's certainly an element of that happening. Some of the players are clearly not doing what they're asked to, and that is hurting us.

But he's used this excuse so many times and refuses to take any part of the blame so stubbornly, that people just dismiss it. And of course it's generally the same players that let us down, and he keeps picking them, so the idea that it surprised him is ludicrous, unless he's incredibly thick.

Because Moshiri panicked as did most of our supporters (me included) that we might go down and that he is the Houdini of the great escape.

And because we hadn't done our fucking homework. How much time did Watford take to appoint a new manager after Silva's sacking?
