Media in Iceland is reporting that Gylfi injured his knee during the Brighton match. He seemed to twist his knee early in game but managed to shake it off and play on. Now they are saying that it might be serious and he might even miss out on the World Cup this summer.

Anyone here heard anything about that?

Wouldn’t it be marvellous to have Walcott and Sigurdsson both out injured

Looked sore and he was deffo feeling it but seemed to play on OK, maybe his influence diminished a bit.

Not heard anything from the club however, would be very disappointed if true.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

It would be very Everton for this to happen just as he is consistently playing well.

Really hope he’s OK, for him, for us, and for Iceland’s sake.

If he is out I really hope we start playing Vlasic.

He played the full 90+ mins, very much doubt he would do that if he was even slightly injured

Would be gutted for us to be without him for the rest of the season but more for him potentially missing out on the world cup, in what is his countries first appearance I am sure, and where he would be heading into it as their star man
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

I dunno, didn't Bolasie continue after damaging his knee last season?
Yes, we're being condescending. Yes, that means we're talking down to you.

Only for a few minutes after the injury though.

until we hear ,  is it just rumour,          ???

but for me the player should know if his knee's done one,    and that physio/med guy who runs on is utter useless,   seen him does not look like he has a clue , same with Bolasie.....
