Brands in to replace Walsh, someone exciting like fonseca in to replace fat head, some images of the new stadium and moshiri confirming major investment in the summer as well as a big clear out of dead wood. That would make me forget all about this season and have me all excited again through the summer.
Keep that cunt, and I'll be a broken man.

This is defo a case of no news is bad news. I wake each day hoping to see the headline.. The nightmare is that he'll get another season.

He’s not doing anything to get sacked during the season though.

The results have been sufficient to see out the season and (hopefully) part ways as we’re after someone more progressive.

We really would look a bit daft to most people in the game if we sacked him now for doing an ok job.

A DoF is more important to get in first and most managerial options will be still in their current job anyway.

I'm hoping that we'll bring Brands in and allow him to do what a DoF does, which is to identify a style of play for the club and then implement this through manager and squad.

As SA doesn't have a style of play, Brands will fire him and replace him with his choice of coach.

That enables the narrative of thanking him for his contribution, the team heading in a new direction and absolves Moshiri from firing him personally.

"Ah, but my friend Sam, it's not me, I appreciate you introducing me to onion gravy and Fake Taxi. You know I'd have kept you on, but this one is out of my hands..."

It’s like somebody accidentally ordering a box of dogshit off amazon by mistake and when it gets delivered them asking you if you want to open it up and look at it.

Why would you open the box? You know what’s inside is toxic and will cause a stink there’s no point opening it up just to find out is there?

Worse still ordering a second box

He’s a dirty little sod... both your mate and the taxi geezer himself (especially when he does his special move)

Wenger is gutted about being moved on.  He’s stated he’s going to carry on working, he will be hungry for success and now has a point to prove.  He’s been at the arse and done well for them, not so recently but maybe it’s gone stale for him too.  Age comes into it upto a point but surely experience and the pedigree of the man trumps the age factor

Clearest indication so far that he's leaving but still the language used in this article makes me think there's still a chance he could stay.

I thought Moshiri might have kept him on, up until the Mosh didn't give his public backing. I think that's him gone. :)
