Starting to gather some serious pace this.

Thoughts then?

I think this will be a great signing personally.

Yeah, he’s a good player, excellent passer.

Him in the middle with Rooney/Davies/Sigurdsson would definitely help with our ability to retain the ball.

Jack Wilshire is pure class.  Tin hat placed firmly on the syrup. :)

He’s shit.

Don’t have time right now to go into why but felt it was important to get that in the thread early.

Is he over his injuries? Haven't really been paying attention to him recently

I think he's tremendously hot and cold. Yeah, he's looked good in some games this season (is he just putting in a little extra effort now because of his contract?) but he's been pretty absent in others too. His time on loan was frankly dreadful, I don't think he did anything of note almost his entire time there and they seemingly got to a point they were better off without him in the side. Plus it's hard to completely ignore the ridiculously bad injury record even if it has been better since his loan spell.

I don't think he's what we need at the end of the day. Jack Wilshere, Jamie Vardy, Phil Jones, it's all the same limited thinking for me. It's not going to take us where we want to be.

He could fill the hole in the squad left by Darron Gibson.

Very good footballer but fitness history is a concern

Otherwise, would be a great addition

Would have Ramsey over him if that was option, or Iwobi actually, both would be great Barkley replacements, but yeah jack would be a good signing for us tbh.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

To be honest, I'd not be surprised if our name was just being used here to get him a better deal at Arsenal too. He seemingly pretty desperately wants to stay, but he doesn't want a pay cut.

Also, is he really worth an 8 mil sign on bonus?

I'd be happy with him coming in on a free as he's obviously 100% better passer than anyone else in our team and he's only 26. Starting to feel that Everton are becoming the team where dreams come to die though. I think we should be casting our nets further out than just the trimmings from top teams (and Arsenal).

Wilshere and Davies in the middle would quite easily be the snidest due since Dick Dastardly and Muttley.

I think he would be a Barry replacement. Not convinced his injury record makes him worth the risk

Jake Wilkinsonshire, nah not for me... Purely on the basis of all the horrific miss spelt attempts at his name over the course of his contract!
