Yeah, if United really do want him, then we have no chance.

They’ve mistranslated that - it says paperwork was being done but Utd have offered more (so Barça would like us to match/ better it).

There are 2 articles on that website, https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/lio-con-salida-yerry-mina-del-barca-6978523 This one says like you said Man u have offered a bit more than us. That we have everything agreed and paperwork ready, then Man U put in a higher bid which obviously is good for barca, but its saying/hinting (in the subtitle and the last paragraph) that Mina and his people want to go to Everton, as its all in place, sounds like theyre fed up with the mess. But its a bit vague and fench sitting. Great though if it does come off, and this is true, as it sounds like we have conducted ourselves well. No more Muppets on bikes memes hopefully

If Mina goes to Utd., no way should we make that transition easy by taking Utd's surplus off their hands.

I would much rather Everton brought in from elsewhere.

I’d rather Everton brought in the best CB available, irrespective of whether he’s played at Utd, Barca or anywhere else for that matter

Sick of making it easy for them. Besides, there are better options out there than what they can offer.

Gotta be careful we don't keep waiting and waiting for this fella, it certainly seems like he has no interest in Everton

We seem to have been pretty smart with our transfer dealings this summer to date, I'd be surprised if we have all our eggs in this basket. We may be negotiating with someone else and he may now be a back up rather than the main focus from here on in. I don't think these two are as incompetent as Koeman and Walsh.
