You kinda feel that they'll do something daft/reckless at some point to get knocked out but they look such a good side. Full of running, they're making Juve look tired. They'd be dangerous against anyone, but I think they've got a few players missing now due to bookings for the next round and that might cost them.

Mad to think that Juve rested their team at the weekend and Ajax didn't, it looks the other way around. Guessing that the average age of the teams is the big difference.

Bet Davy Klaassen wishes he'd stayed there now.

Ajax should be out of site here, but keep overplaying it, one pass to many

The British commentators on my stream were doing my head in constantly criticising Ajax for overplaying it, it was like having Big Sam and his twin in the studio

Based on that today Neres might be perfect for us.

Massive talent, but his poor decision making might keep the top clubs away from him for a few seasons yet.

Could we see a Brazilian front three of Bernard/Richarlison/Neres next season?

Eh. They were a bit though. They did so much right you'd forgive them doing that on occasion though.

I read the explanation, and they criticised his lack of education/knowledge more than his morality, which I thought was interesting.

My initial reaction, like you, was very skeptical, but I got the sense that it was a valid reading of the situation, because they sounded more surprised by his stupidity than anything, and they said that they studied his responses carefully and didn't get any sense that he was blagging anything or not taking things seriously. He actually didn't know the historical situation or the issues around it.
