Schneids £120k
Walcott £110k

Walcott is our highest earner. No idea if your figures are accurate.

My god he's dreamy. Based on that video, it's easily the best kit we've ever had.

I doubt he will come back from this, such a shame

Behave. Players have come back from far worse.

It wasn't a red card, right decision to rescind it.

Little taken a back at a lot of reactions on here of those in the "fuck Son" camp. Genuinely perplexed as to why some of you can't have empathy for the guy. The way some of you are acting is as if it were a Roy Keane type leg breaker.

It was petulant but it wasn't meant to cause harm.

And then there's this whole "oh we're Everton, we're getting fucked over attitude". It's all a bit silly!

As has been said, empathy for Son and sympathy for Gomes aren't mutually exclusive.

I do get thatt @Shogun and @GLewis , I guess I'm just far more used to this forum being a lot more level headed than this reaction seems to have been. I guess it's a culmination of a few very shit things going on.

Talk of his Ďmental fragilityí from people without this professional understanding or insight into his mind is pointless.

Seeing him walk into Finch Farm today on crutches, I expect he will get excellent emotional care from the Everton team and that will give him a stronger bond than he already has with this club.

I think he will come back stronger.

The mental fragility talk comes from him. He has very openly admitted that he has been through rough periods. This isn't any slight on him by the way, to talk about such a topic in the public eye takes guts, but he has suffered in the past and people will think of him as maybe a bit fragile, which is human nature.

At this point it's more about crying Everton fans than Son.

Remember when people said he was weak mentally and therefore he might not recover well.

Fucking bell ends.

Steady on there, you're dressing that up as people having a pop at him. It's well known that he's struggled with his mental health, especially at Barca... he's talked about it candidly. Being concerned as to the impact this was going to have on him isn't a slight against him, it's concern. Everyone wanted him to come back the player he was, so don't get all high and mighty about it.

His long passing was disappointing but in tight spaces he did well. Nowhere as bad as is always seemingly made out here.

He did give away too many free-kicks though, that was annoying.
