Everton caretaker manager Duncan Ferguson admitted that he knows the position the club are in is not good enough, but that he wanted his role as stand-in manager yesterday to give the club back part of it's identity.

Have to say I'm really impressed he had the chutzpah to give it a crack.

Not that I believe he doesn't have the strength or character personally but many wouldn't have in the position we're in.
Nothing ever happens, nothing happens at all. The needle returns to the start of the song and we all sing along like before.
